Event: One-hour Massage

This morning I visited Massage Envy for the first time and enjoyed an introductory-priced full-body massage.

It was wonderful.  I don’t get massages regularly (even less frequently now that my closest girlfriends’ bridal party events are over), but when I do I usually ask the therapist to just focus on my back.  After today, I won’t be doing that anymore!  How awesome is a head massage!?!  (The answer: So awesome that you can easily overlook the grease-ball look of your hair from the therapist’s lotion-covered hands!)  And, believe it or not, I even enjoyed the foot rub.  (Let it be known that you could not pay me enough to touch someone else’s feet like that.  Ick!)

The pampering was a great treat for my Day Five event.  And, as an unexpected added bonus, we had the pleasure of watching Jim’s brother Jonathan & his girlfriend Nanako play at tonight’s outdoor concert in Apex with the Triangle Brass Band.  What a fun way to round out the week!
