Day Six: Stroll at the Park

Event: An Afternoon Stroll around Bond Park

This afternoon we took advantage of the uncharacteristically mild weather and visited our favorite park, Fred G. Bond Metro Park.

We missed the Independence Day Olde Time celebration earlier in the day, so the park wasn’t too crowded while we were there.  We did see a few other dogs and took a moment to snap a group shot.  Look how happy MD was to be photographed!  And notice how normal my hair is—proof of the lack of humidity!

It was a relatively uneventful visit, especially when compared to the last one when we saw another dog chase a dozen ducks into the water, or the time Marshall Dillon unexpectedly went for his first swim in the lake.  And while I always appreciate a good story to tell, I much prefer the ones that involve the hound’s paws being on dry land.
