Day Twenty-Nine: Cooking Dinner with Jim
Event: Cooking with Jim, then Rita’s for Dessert
Making dinner with Jim is not anything new. In fact, it ordinarily happens at least four nights a week. But with all of the celebrations and travels of the last month, we haven’t had many opportunities. So, tonight we went for a quick treat: Nachos & Coronas. We made a beef & bean chili that went wonderfully with the other toppings.

I imagine if this were on a menu, it would be called Colossal Nachos.
Yum! (We shared that plate, for the record. And didn’t eat it all.)
After dinner, Marshall Dillon and I burned off some energy by playing games.
MD enjoys my impression of Jim dancing just about as much as he enjoys Jim’s dancing. (Not at all, really.)
And then it was off to PetSmart and Rita’s! Marshall gets treated like royalty by the owners of Rita’s. They always come outside to see him and bring him a water dish. Too bad all he really wanted was some custard.

What a wonderfully low-key way to spend the evening. Hard to believe tomorrow is Day THIRTY!!
